about the college

By stran'n you will lose sleep!

Fatima College is a collection of silly rules, rebilious students, and teachers that would rather not be there - and show it. Some call it a prestigious school, I call it just another eductional institution run by money-hungry catholic fanatics (who by the way, are a fine example of their twisted beliefs).

Teachers who care are scarce, and usually leave, one teacher that belonged to this group was Seamungal, although his recent return leaves us to question whether or not he's turned into a bastard or not. Because ladies and gentlemen, if you stay in the college long enough, and interact with the rest of the bloodsuckers, your fate is sealed. One teacher who has yet to be turned would have to be Yung, but he's probably too stoned to care anyway (smoke up d herb...).

Constantly asking for money, it makes me wonder if this isn't really a private school that is not funded by the government at all? Fact is, they suck up students, their talents and their vision (and money), for their own gain while they have them, then forget about them when they leave, the computer department is a prime example of this.

The college is not without its good points, I apologise for making it seem overly horrible, why there's the good old field opposite the complex which has been used by many students to smoke, play cricket, football, and get away from the many stresses of school.

There were also the few havens such as the T.D., Art and Computer rooms, all of which have been taken from us by our new illustrious Dean Of Studies, Coopey-D-Coop. These places used to be were students could kick back and shoot the breeze (as well as other players in the computer lab..QUAKE!) without having to sit in the hot sun or floors around the classrooms, now students can't go near them except when class has been called.

Fatima does do one thing right though, whether it tries to or not, it gives students a place to belong and a place to grow up, and somewhere along the line a conventional eduction too. For all it's bad points, they aren't that bad when compared to other schools and institutions, in a land of crappy methods of eduction and facitities, it's less crappy than the rest, and some people are actually proud to say they went there, I used to be proud, then I became all too aware of how they (and most other schools) operate, hopefully they'll use the future to make us proud again.
